Techy prepares an intimate and exclusive experience with her new album “CHULA”
The renowned Dominican artist Techy is preparing to captivate her followers with an innovative proposal. For the first time, she will perform live with a full band the songs that make up her most recent record production titled “CHULA,” through a special residency that will take place throughout the month of October.
Under the concept called “CHULA Experience,” the singer will offer a series of exclusive concerts at Velvet. This format has been designed to be intimate and with limited capacity, allowing for a direct connection between the performer of “Que me quedes tú” and her fans. The evening promises to combine music, unpublished stories behind each composition, interactive dynamics, and touches of stand-up comedy.
There is no distance between the audience and me here. CHULA experience is just that: closeness, stories, comedy, and the songs they decide to listen to.

For Techy, this format is particularly special, reminding her of her first residency eight years ago at the Studio Theatre. Those shows remain her favorites because of the freedom they allow her to play with the audience and share personal anecdotes. With this new series of performances, she seeks to recreate that same vibrant and personal energy.
The artist has highlighted that the show’s dynamic will allow attendees to have a say in the repertoire, choosing which of her hits they wish to enjoy live. Techy’s musical catalog includes popular tracks such as “Nada”, “Hombre malo”, “Te voy a enamorar”, “Cariñito”, and “Peligroso”.

The album “CHULA” is a celebration of Dominican musical identity, exploring a wide range of genres including:

This record album consists of 12 unreleased tracks written by Techy, among which the single “El Sabe” stands out, a special collaboration with the legendary Fefita La Grande.
