With this decree, Guante assumes the responsibility of leading a key entity for the country’s social development.
The strategic role of INAIPI
INAIPI is the agency responsible for managing public policies focused on the well-being of children during their first years of life. The work of this institution is fundamental to guarantee healthy growth, providing comprehensive support not only to the children, but also to their families.
Guante’s management will focus on the continuity and strengthening of the following operational areas:
- Comprehensive Early Childhood Care Centers (CAIPI): Spaces dedicated to direct care and early education.
- Child and Family Care Centers (CAFI): Community outreach programs for family support.
- Health and Nutrition: Ensuring the food and physical well-being standards necessary for child development.
- Comprehensive Protection: Social and educational support programs.
The appointment of Kenia Guante reaffirms the Government’s commitment to the protection and comprehensive development of Dominican children, ensuring the constant operation of programs that impact thousands of families throughout the national territory.
Following this appointment, the new executive director will be in charge of executing state policies aimed at early childhood, facing the challenge of maintaining the quality and reach of the services that characterize this institution.
