Driver involved in fatal traffic accident turns himself in
The National Police reported this Monday the voluntary surrender of Carlos José Troche Rodríguez, who is identified as the alleged driver of the SUV involved in a tragic traffic accident recorded on August 15. The event, which shocked the community, resulted in the death of two people and left another injured.
The spokesperson for the law enforcement institution, Diego Pesqueira, confirmed that Troche Rodríguez presented himself to the authorities at the Centro del Automovilista. According to the spokesperson, the man is being investigated for his alleged responsibility in the collision with a motorcycle on which three citizens were traveling.

The fatalities were identified as Wilmer Rodríguez and his 21-year-old daughter, Wilkaren Rodríguez. The tragic event left a four-year-old child orphaned, which prompted family members to make an urgent appeal to the authorities so that the case would not go unpunished.
