Granlund Guides Stars to Victory with Hat Trick
In a match marked by offensive efficiency, the Dallas Stars achieved a resounding 3-1 victory over the Winnipeg Jets in the fourth game of the series. The key to the triumph was Mikael Granlund, who with only three shots, scored three goals, securing a hat trick for the Stars.
This performance puts the Stars on the verge of their third consecutive Western Conference final, leading the series 3-1.
Obviously, the work is not done. We have a lot of work to do. But it was a good victory.

Granlund’s hat trick was the first of his career, a milestone for the 13-year veteran, acquired by the Stars in February.
Granlund’s first goal came in the first period, taking advantage of a power play situation with a powerful shot that beat Jets’ goalie Connor Hellebuyck.
I was just shooting somewhere and it went in.

Granlund’s second goal came from a play initiated by Mikko Rantanen and Roope Hintz, culminating in a 2-on-1 that Granlund converted into a lead for the Stars.
The third goal, also on the power play, sealed Granlund’s magical night.
This was the first game in which the Stars’ “Finnish Mafia”, including Heiskanen, Rantanen, Hintz, and Lindell, played together, adding a special component to the victory.
Goaltender Jake Oettinger contributed 31 saves, while the Jets, despite their numerous shot attempts, could only score one goal.
Oettinger made great saves. But we had 70 shot attempts. We have to get more than one goal.
