Diamondbacks and Astros: MLB Success Nights
The Arizona Diamondbacks continue their winning streak, adding their tenth victory in the last eleven games after defeating the San Francisco Giants with a score of 6-2 at Oracle Park.

Ketel Marte, the Dominican, maintained his good offensive performance, batting 4 for 5 and driving in three runs. In addition, he extended his consecutive games with hits streak to nine, with a batting average of .568 in that period.
The Diamondbacks overcame a 2-1 deficit, capitalizing on defensive errors by San Francisco to score three runs in the fifth inning, securing the victory.
With this victory, the Diamondbacks improved their record to 4-0 against the Giants in the current season.Houston Astros Achieve a No-Hitter
In Arlington, the Houston Astros made history by pitching a no-hitter, defeating the Texas Rangers with a score of 9-0 at Globe Life Field. This is the first game of its kind in Major League Baseball since September 2024.
Tatsuya Imai, from Japan, was key in the feat, pitching six innings without allowing hits. Despite walking the first two batters, he recovered and dominated the Texas offense.
Steven Okert pitched in the seventh inning, and Alimber Santa, in his Major League debut, completed the last two innings to secure the combined no-hitter, the 18th in Astros history.
Houston’s offense also contributed. Jeremy Peña scored the first run, while Yordan Álvarez hit his 16th home run of the season.
Christian Walker continued his good offensive moment with a three-run home run in the seventh inning, his fourth in the last three games and the number 15 of the year.
This combined no-hitter is the Astros’ first since the 2022 World Series and the first in the regular season since the one achieved by Dominican Ronel Blanco against Toronto on April 1, 2024.
