Future-facing strategy
The Licey operations office explained that these actions correspond to the usual planning carried out by the teams of the Dominican Professional Baseball League (LIDOM). The main objective of these moves is to optimize the reserve of native talent and prepare the ground for the upcoming Rookie Draft.
These decisions allow the blue management to maintain the necessary flexibility to make strategic adjustments and add new talent to strengthen the roster with an eye toward the upcoming competitive commitments of the winningest team in winter baseball.
