Diamante Awards celebrates its 13th edition: Gala of excellence in Boca Chica

The city of Boca Chica dressed up to celebrate the thirteenth edition of the Diamond Awards, an event that brought together the most influential figures in Dominican communication, art, politics, and the business sector. The ceremony, held this Tuesday, August 11, stood out for its cultural display and emotional recognitions.

The evening began with a vibrant red carpet hosted by Israel Hernández and Carla Flores, where prominent personalities, entrepreneurs, and special guests paraded, adding brilliance to the night.

Award winners of the night

The awards ceremony recognized effort and creativity across various disciplines. Among the most notable winners are:

  • Urban Artist of the Year: Blow 47
  • Christian Artist of the Year: Grupo Fared
  • Music Producer of the Year: Comoloco Produce
  • Variety Show: En Contacto y En Contexto
  • Opinion Show: Mañana Democrática

Other categories highlighted entrepreneurship and professional work, awarding figures such as Eng. Raziel Castillo (Professional of the Year) and Yokasta Valenzuela (Young Person and Announcer of the Year). In the field of fashion, Pedro Barberde and Vanessa Calderón were chosen as the best dressed of the gala.

Academic Excellence and Special Diamonds

The commitment to education held a privileged place with the distinction awarded to student Shaddai Esther Regalado, who was recognized for her outstanding academic GPA of 97.5% at the Don Pedro Mir Arts Educational Center, serving as an example of self-improvement for the youth.

Premios Diamante not only celebrates current success, but honors the trajectories that serve as inspiration for future generations.

The “Special Diamonds” were awarded to personalities whose impact on society is indisputable, such as Isabel Pérez, Omar García Castillo, Dulce Mercedes Quiñones, the Cañaveral Folkloric Group, and Víctor Henry. The highlight of the night was the presentation of the “Grand Diamond 2026” to Lic. Domingo Castro, in honor of his more than 25 years of impeccable professional career.

A tribute to culture and legacy

The artistic production, led by Arimy Events, included moments of great sensitivity, such as the posthumous tribute to Formerio Rodríguez and a special presentation dedicated to the Dominican icon Alex Bueno. The musical portion was complemented by Junior Fabián and the folkloric energy of Grupo Cañaveral.

With thirteen years of history, Premios Diamante reaffirms its position as a fundamental pillar for the development and recognition of the talents that drive Boca Chica and the entire Dominican Republic.
