Family demands justice and clear answers regarding the death of Thomas Adames in San Cristóbal

Kendy Adames, mother of 35-year-old Thomas Adames, has raised her voice to request that the Dominican authorities conduct an exhaustive investigation into her son’s death. Four months after the discovery of the body, which occurred on May 16th on 6 de Noviembre Street in San Cristóbal, the mother is reporting multiple contradictions and legal loopholes that have prevented the truth from being clarified.

According to Mrs. Adames, the official accounts regarding the death present worrying inconsistencies. While some results suggest that the passing was the result of an internal hemorrhage derived from an accident, the death certificate provided indicates that the death occurred at the Juan Pablo Pina Hospital, a discrepancy that has generated great uncertainty for the family.

I am already tired of so many false versions. I want it to be investigated deeply, because there is already too much.

Irregularities in the investigation process

One of the most critical points of the complaint is the state in which the body was found. The mother claims that her son was found without clothes and with a condom, a detail that, in her opinion, has not been properly analyzed by the investigators. Furthermore, the family questions why the legal report was delivered to Thomas’s romantic partner, ignoring the parents, who claim they have not received access to the autopsy documents or updates on the case despite having gone to the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Police Headquarters.

Request to the authorities

Mrs. Adames has made an urgent appeal to the country’s highest authorities, including Deputy Attorney General Yeni Berenice Reynoso, President Luis Abinader, and First Lady Raquel Arbaje, to intervene in this process. The mother maintains that she possesses evidence, such as audio recordings and photographs, which could be key to determining the criminal responsibilities of those who were with her son before his tragic end.

  • Demand for a deep and transparent investigation.
  • Claim for the delivery of official documents and autopsy results.
  • Questioning of the handling of the case by the judicial authorities of San Cristóbal.

Let the guilty come to light. I just want justice.

To date, the Adames family continues to wait for a concrete response that will allow them to close this painful chapter and obtain the justice that, as they claim, has been elusive during these four months of uncertainty.
