National Health Service guarantees 24/7 care at the Arroyo Barril polyclinic
The National Health Service (SNS) has ratified that the polyclinic located in Arroyo Barril, Samaná province, operates uninterruptedly, offering medical services to the community 24 hours a day, throughout the entire week, including weekends and holidays.
These statements were issued by Jhonatan Brea, advisor to the SNS executive management, who highlighted that the health center has a human team composed of more than 15 professionals, among whom are five doctors in charge of covering rotating shifts to ensure constant care for patients.

Improvement and expansion plans
In addition to confirming the current operational status of the center, the SNS detailed the strengthening plans it has scheduled for this healthcare infrastructure. Among the strategic actions, the following points stand out:
- The center has been selected to receive immediate improvement interventions focused on optimizing the quality of care.
- A significant expansion of the facilities is projected for the year 2027.
- The goal of this modernization is to increase the installed capacity and strengthen the range of medical services for the inhabitants of the area.
