Tension in El Limón de La Cuaba: Ramón Tolentino reports kidnapping and assaults committed by a dangerous criminal

A highly dangerous situation has shaken the community of El Limón de La Cuaba, in Santo Domingo, after it was revealed that the criminal known as Dargenis de Jesús, alias “El Sicario,” held a farmer captive on his own property. The victim, identified only as “Lebrón,” was subjected to hours of anguish and physical violence under the control of this individual.

According to information released by journalist Ramón Tolentino, the aggressor used a portion of an adjacent farm, owned by figures close to the circle of former President Hipólito Mejía, as an operations center for his illicit activities. According to reports, the location served as a refuge for committing serious crimes, including kidnappings and sexual assaults against minors.

Details of the incident and the aggressor’s demands

The criminal, who operated in the area under a climate of constant threat, demanded the victim pay RD$50,000.00 and hand over a hunting shotgun, motivated by the knowledge that the farmer’s relatives had recently returned from the United States. The situation reached critical levels when the perpetrator attempted to take the life of Mr. Lebrón, being prevented only by the intervention of military personnel and civilians who were in the area.

  • The aggressor has a criminal record that includes rapes and multiple kidnappings.
  • Military personnel guarding nearby lands were forced to abandon their positions due to the risk the criminal group posed to their families.
  • The criminal group, according to investigations, is made up of other individuals identified as “Diego”, “El Buey”, “El Bocu” and Ricardo Custodio, the latter pointed out for homicide cases.

Call to the authorities

Given the gravity of the events and the danger these individuals pose to social peace, Ramón Tolentino has issued an urgent call to President Luis Abinader and the Ministry of Defense. The request seeks to intensify intelligence and pursuit efforts to capture the members of this gang, who are keeping workers and residents of the rural area of Santo Domingo in a state of anxiety.
