Transformational leadership seminar promoted to strengthen values in Dominican society
With the goal of fostering personal development and rescuing fundamental values, the International Training Organization (ITO) has announced the holding of a seminar-workshop focused on transformational leadership, national identity, and strengthening the family. This initiative seeks to provide citizens with key tools to face current social challenges.
John Jairo Santiago, commercial director of the OIC, highlighted that the process of change must begin with the individual. According to Santiago, it is imperative that those who occupy positions of influence first undergo a deep personal transformation, integrating self-knowledge and emotional well-being as pillars to positively impact their environment.
The leader has to transform themselves and, if we do not transform ourselves, we are in trouble.

Rescue of identity and fight against violence
Ministerial leader Wendy Acevedo emphasized the urgency of preserving Dominican identity in the new generations. Acevedo warned that ignorance of patriotic origins can disorient the nation, which is why she urged young people and leaders to take a stance of active defense regarding the values that define the country.
For his part, speaker Guarionex Alcántara expressed his concern regarding the increase in episodes of violence in various areas. Alcántara stressed that leadership must scale to a higher level to offer effective responses to social conflicts, promoting the prevention of domestic violence and healthy coexistence.
