Voices for life: Artists unite in Bogotá to help those affected by the earthquake
The music industry has responded with a gesture of solidarity in the face of the tragedy that Colombia is going through after the recent 7.4 magnitude earthquake. On August 23rd, Bogotá will be the epicenter of a major benefit concert called Voices for Life, an event that seeks to raise essential funds for the reconstruction of the areas hardest hit by the earthquake.
The Vive Claro venue, considered the space with the largest capacity in the country, will open its doors to welcome a constellation of stars who have decided to donate their talent and work at no cost. The main objective is to provide support to families who lost their homes, allowing them to have resources to recover their housing and resume their life projects.
A luxury lineup committed to the cause
The event will feature the participation of international and national figures. Among the featured artists are Karol G, Miguel Bosé, Sebastián Yatra, Draco Rosa, and Silvestre Dangond. Joining them is a diverse list of talents that includes:
- Grupo Niche
- Andrés Cepeda
- Eladio Carrión
- Manuel Medrano
- Pedro Capó
- Nanpa Básico
- Beéle, Bonka, Daniel Habif, Galy Galiano, Hamilton, Juan Duque, Juliana, Laura Pérez, Maisak, Manú and Timo.
It is worth noting that the Colombian superstar Karol G will be part of this initiative through a live broadcast, collaborating directly through her Con Cora Foundation, an entity focused on the empowerment of women and vulnerable communities.
National and international artists, promoters, producers, and technicians have decided to stand on the same side. Everyone has put their work and resources at the service of this cause without charging fees, seeking to contribute what they do best to help the country.
Event organization
How to participate and collaborate?
All proceeds from the show will be donated to Presentes Corporación, the organization leading reconstruction efforts in the most affected areas. The earthquake, which has left a death toll of over two hundred, requires the unity of all sectors for the recovery of infrastructure and the well-being of those affected.
Attendees will be able to enter the event by making a minimum donation of 100,000 Colombian pesos, approximately 32 dollars. This contribution not only guarantees access to the concert, but also translates into direct aid for those who need it most at this critical moment for the nation.
