Janser Martínez suggests Luis Abinader conduct a national tour to supervise government works
Lawyer and former mayoral candidate, Janser Martínez, has extended a formal proposal to the President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, to undertake a national tour across the country’s various provinces. The main objective of this initiative is for the head of state to show the citizenry firsthand the works executed during his government administration.
According to Martínez’s vision, this tour should be carried out in the company of territorial authorities. The purpose is twofold: on one hand, to carry out inauguration and supervision acts for projects, and on the other, to explain directly to the communities the scope and the real investment that the central Government has allocated to each sector.
Clarity on public investment
Through his official channels, Martínez emphasized the importance of the population accurately identifying the origin of the resources invested in their localities. According to the leader, there is frequent confusion, as many projects funded by the central government are erroneously attributed to municipal administrations, which distorts public perception regarding who executes and finances the improvements in their environment.
A national tour by Abinader would constitute an exercise in accountability, allowing the president to visit communities directly, oversee projects, and present the results of public investments to the population.

Beyond infrastructure: the human value
For Martínez, the value of a public work should not be limited exclusively to the economic amount invested in its construction. The former candidate stressed that there is a fundamental human component behind every infrastructure, whether it is a road, a bridge, an educational center, a drinking water system, or a sports facility.
- The true significance of the works lies in the dignity and well-being they bring to families.
- Greater development opportunities must be generated through infrastructure.
- It is necessary to strengthen information transparency so that citizens can objectively evaluate the Government’s policies.
This proposal seeks, ultimately, to strengthen the bond between the Government and the municipalities, ensuring that the social impact of state policies is fully understood and valued by the beneficiaries in every corner of the national territory.
