Los Alcarrizos inaugurates the 2026 Children’s Summer Camp with massive attendance
The Municipal City Council of Los Alcarrizos has formally kicked off its highly anticipated 2026 Children’s Summer Camp, an initiative of great social impact that has managed to bring together more than 2,500 children. Over the course of three intense days, the young participants will enjoy a comprehensive agenda that combines sports, culture, and education.
The event, which is supported by some 500 volunteers dedicated to supervision and recreation, was inaugurated by Mayor Junior Santos, who emphasized the importance of providing safe environments where children can enhance their skills and interact in a healthy way.
This camp is a testament to the commitment we have to our children. Over these three days, we want them to enjoy, learn, share, and develop their talents in a safe environment filled with joy. For us, investing in childhood is investing in the future of Los Alcarrizos.

A joint effort for childhood
The opening ceremony featured the participation of prominent municipal figures, including Deputy Mayor Felicia Santos, the council members, and Congressman Aldo Adón, who supported this vision of community development.
The success of this edition of the camp has been possible thanks to a strategic alliance between various public and private institutions, such as:

The camp’s agenda includes various sports disciplines, recreational competitions, and educational workshops. With this proposal, the Mayor’s Office of Los Alcarrizos reaffirms its purpose of promoting social well-being and strengthening the bonds of integration among the municipality’s inhabitants during the vacation period.
