The HEAT Latin Music Awards arrive in Jalisco: A celebration of Latin identity and music
The prestigious HEAT Latin Music Awards is preparing for a historic edition. After more than a decade touring Latin America, the event lands in Jalisco, Mexico, under the name HEAT Latin Music Awards Jalisco Style. This gathering, which will take place from October 31 to November 5, 2026, will culminate with a grand gala at the Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center.
This edition is the result of a joint effort between the Government of Jalisco and the municipality of Puerto Vallarta, seeking to merge the musical essence of the region with the cultural richness of a state that is the cradle of mariachi, charrería, and the tequila tradition.
A luxury team for driving
The experience will be guided by a diverse group of prominent personalities in the digital and artistic field of Latin America:
- Karime Pindter (Mexico)
- Caroline Aquino (Dominican Republic)
- La Segura (Colombia)
- Ignacio Baladán (Uruguay)
- Yohana Vargas (Venezuela)
- Dímelo King (Colombia)
Craftsmanship and tradition in every statuette
One of the highlights of this edition is the manufacturing of the awards. The HEAT globes will be unique pieces crafted using traditional Jaliscan techniques, including Tonalá ceramics, Wixarika art, blown glass, traditional toy making, and piteado belts. Each trophy will be an unrepeatable work of art that reflects the cultural heritage of the host state.

An event with purpose and international projection
The choice of dates is no coincidence; it coincides with a week when Mexican families honor their traditions and the memory of their loved ones, a spirit of connection that the organizers seek to translate into sound art. During the official announcement held in Miami, Lorena Martínez, General Director of the Jalisco State Entertainment Agency, highlighted that this event consolidates the state as the Mexican capital of entertainment.
The event will feature the participation of figures such as Eddy Herrera, Jessi Uribe, Dayanara, Mario Girón, and Jhon de la Torre, who contributed their talent to the presentation. In addition, iconic brands such as the Sala de Despecho and Tequila Tesoro Azul, owned by Marco Antonio Solís, will be part of the experience, bringing the distinctive hallmark of Jalisco to the world.
