Tragedy in Arenoso: Teenager reported missing found dead

Consternation in the Duarte province following the discovery of the body of Alexandra Montero, a 16-year-old teenager affectionately known as Paloma, who was found lifeless in the waters of the Agripo canal, located in the community of Cuba, in the municipal district of El Aguacate, Arenoso municipality.

The young woman had been reported missing by her relatives after not returning home following an outing with three friends. This event immediately triggered an intense search operation in which community members, her loved ones, and various relief agencies actively participated.

Following the tragic discovery, the authorities have initiated the corresponding proceedings to clarify the facts.
