John Cena Headlines WWE Premium Event in Indianapolis

The renowned wrestler John Cena will lead a WWE Premium Live Event next month in Indianapolis, which will be broadcast through ESPN’s direct-to-consumer service. The first edition of WWE’s Wrestlepalooza, to be held on Saturday, September 20, will feature prominent figures such as Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, CM Punk, and Drew McIntyre. The event will begin at 7 p.m. ET at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Rhodes, current undisputed WWE champion, Rollins, world heavyweight champion, and Lynch, intercontinental women’s champion, will join Cena in this show. This event will mark Cena’s last appearance in Indianapolis. This inaugural event is part of the new five-year agreement between WWE and ESPN, which will bring Premium Live events to ESPN platforms.

Indianapolis hosted the Royal Rumble in 2025, an event that set an attendance record at the nearby Lucas Oil Stadium. Tickets for the event will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. ET. Presale tickets will be available Thursday. In addition, two more events will be broadcast on ESPN platforms this year: the Crown Jewel on October 11 and Survivor Series in San Diego on November 29.
