Carlos Sainz extends his bond with Atlassian Williams in Formula 1

Spanish driver Carlos Sainz has made his continuity in the pinnacle of motorsport official by signing a new multi-year contract with the Atlassian Williams team. This renewal secures the Madrid native’s stay with the team, consolidating a high-level lineup alongside Thai driver Alex Albon ahead of the team’s 50th anniversary in Formula 1.

Since his arrival at Williams in 2025, following his time at Ferrari, Sainz has demonstrated a rapid adaptation and outstanding performance. The 31-year-old driver has managed to secure important podiums at circuits such as Baku and Qatar, in addition to a standout performance in the Austin sprint race, which has cemented mutual trust between the driver and the British team.
