SANTO DOMINGO – The Marineros de Puerto Plata defeated the Leones de Santo Domingo with a final score of 100-93 in an exciting regular season match of the Super Liga LNB, held this Friday at the San Carlos Club. With this victory, the Mariners secure the series against the Lions with a score of 2-0 and move up to fifth place in the standings, establishing their record at 7-7. On the other hand, the Lions, with a record of 5-10, are in seventh place, awaiting one remaining game. The Mariners’ triumph was built on a dominant final quarter, where they limited the Lions to only 14 points, while they scored 31.
