John Victor’s Injury Raises Concerns at Nottingham Forest
The Brazilian goalkeeper John Victor, from Nottingham Forest, left the field in tears and visibly affected during the match against Aston Villa this Saturday. The injury, which occurred in the 78th minute, worries the team and its fans.
The situation occurred after Aston Villa’s third goal. Victor missed a clearance, allowing John McGinn to score the 3-1. Immediately after the play, the goalkeeper grabbed his left knee, showing clear signs of pain.
The Nottingham Forest medical team attended to Victor on the field. Although he was able to walk off on his own, he did so limping and accompanied by the medics, which reflected the severity of the injury.
Matz Sels entered the field in place of Victor. Medical tests are expected to be carried out in the coming hours to determine the exact extent of the goalkeeper’s injury.
