Dominicans Shine in Caribbean Postseasons on the Road to the 2026 Caribbean Series

A total of 32 Dominican players are actively participating in the postseason of the winter leagues of Venezuela, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. This decisive stage is the prelude to the 2026 Caribbean Series, which will be held in Jalisco, Mexico. With the beginning of January, 17 teams secured their qualification to the final rounds of these circuits. The Dominican presence is notable, especially in the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP), where the largest number of Dominican players is concentrated, with 22. It is followed by the Mexican Pacific League, with six, and the Roberto Clemente Professional Baseball League of Puerto Rico, with four.
