Tyler Morton signs for Lyon after leaving Liverpool
English Under-21 midfielder Tyler Morton has completed his transfer to Lyon from Liverpool, the clubs announced this Tuesday.
The agreement involves a permanent transfer, and Liverpool will receive a sum of 15 million pounds sterling (20 million dollars) for the player’s transfer to the French club.
Morton, 22, came through the youth categories of Liverpool and played 14 matches with the first team.
Last season, he participated in five matches, although none in the Premier League.
He made his debut with Liverpool in September 2021.
Subsequently, he was on loan in the Championship for two seasons, first at Blackburn Rovers and then at Hull City.
