Amorim Covers the Family Expenses of Manchester United’s Coaching Staff for the Europa League Final
Ruben Amorim, Manchester United’s coach, has made a decision that has resonated positively within the club. According to sources, Amorim has funded the expenses for 30 members of his technical team, including their families, to attend the Europa League final in Bilbao.
Manchester United will face Tottenham Hotspur in Bilbao on May 21, with the aim of obtaining the Europa League title and securing a place in the next Champions League.
The club’s directive has implemented cost-cutting measures, including the elimination of up to 200 jobs at Old Trafford during the summer. In this context, only two tickets for the final were offered to staff members, who had to purchase them.
Amorim has decided to cover the expenses to recognize the dedication and effort of his team during the last six months.

This decision contrasts with that of other clubs, such as Paris Saint-Germain, which announced that it would cover the expenses of 600 members of its staff to attend its match against Inter Milan.
It has been reported that Manchester United’s decision was made to ensure that fans could acquire as many tickets as possible from the 15,000 allocated to the club for the match at the San Mamés Stadium.
Players have only been allocated two tickets each, and family and friends will not have travel expenses covered.
Amorim, who brought several members of his Sporting CP team to Manchester United after taking over last November, has decided to intervene. His goal is to reward and recognize the work of his support staff, including the lowest-paid members, for their dedication and commitment during these difficult six months at the club.
When Amorim was informed that the club would not cover the cost of tickets for his coaches and staff, the coach informed the board that he himself would cover the costs so that each member could bring up to two friends or family members.
