Jassel Pérez Strengthens Bayamón Cowboys for the BSN Final Stretch
Bayamón, Puerto Rico – The Vaqueros de Bayamón have officially announced the incorporation of Dominican guard Jassel Pérez as a new reinforcement for the crucial phase of the Superior National Basketball (BSN) season. The team management confirmed that the player is already in Puerto Rico and will join the team’s training immediately. His debut is expected to be this Wednesday, when the Vaqueros face the Gigantes de Carolina-Canóvanas at the Carlos Miguel Mangual Coliseum.The arrival of the Dominican player comes after the departures of imports Jaylin Galloway and Xavier Cooks. With these moves, the franchise seeks to strengthen its squad to face the decisive stage of the tournament. Pérez, 24 years old, is a member of the Dominican Republic national team and comes from Covirán Granada of the Spanish ACB League, where he averaged 11.3 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game. Currently, the Vaqueros are in second place in Conference A of the BSN, with a record of 16 wins and 9 losses.“Jassel is a young, athletic player with a great hunger to compete.
