Santo Domingo – The Directorate of the National Baseball Commissioner (DCNB), led by Junior Noboa, has made an important appointment this Tuesday. The experienced investigator Publio Peláez has been named head of investigation for the entity. Peláez will assume the crucial task of verifying the identity and age processes of the players who aspire to sign for professional baseball. In addition, he will oversee the baseball academies and leagues throughout the country. The main objective is to strengthen integrity and transparency in the training and signing of young talents.
This designation is made on an honorary basis. With over 25 years of experience, Peláez served as head of the anti-fraud department of the United States Consulate in Santo Domingo, which gives him vast experience in compliance and institutional control.
