MIAMI – The renowned Dominican-born singer, Prince Royce, had the honor of throwing the first pitch in the highly anticipated match between the Dominican Republic and Venezuela during the 2026 World Baseball Classic.
The event took place at LoanDepot Park in Miami, where the artist was greeted with great enthusiasm by the thousands of fans present. This special moment was part of the pre-game ceremony, adding excitement and anticipation to the match between the Caribbean teams.
Prince Royce’s participation was a highlight, especially for Dominican fans, who celebrated his presence on the field.
Furthermore, the ceremony featured a touching tribute to the Dominican baseball legend, Juan Marichal, who also threw out the ceremonial first pitch. This gesture helped create a festive and memorable atmosphere in the stadium.
