Mirambeaux Guides the Reales to Victory in a Close Duel Against Cañeros
LA VEGA – Anderson Mirambeaux became the key figure for the Reales de La Vega, leading his team to a 105-102 victory over the Cañeros del Este in an exciting Super Liga LNB match, held at the Fernando Teruel Sports Palace.
Mirambeaux shone with 23 points, demonstrating his composure in crucial moments. He scored two vital free throws that broke the 99-99 tie with only 33 seconds remaining on the clock, solidifying the lead for the Royals.
The Royals’ defense was relentless in the final moments, frustrating the Cañeros’ offensive attempts. Malachi Richardson also played an important role, scoring three crucial free throws to maintain the lead and secure the victory in the vegan team’s home debut.
The Cañeros attempted a comeback in the final seconds, with Lazar Logic scoring a three-pointer that brought the score closer to 105-102 with five seconds left to play, but the effort was not enough.
In addition to Mirambeaux, Sekou Sylla contributed 21 points, Malachi Richardson 13, and Keith Williams 12 for the Royals.
For the Cañeros, Rafail Lanaras led with 21 points, followed by Eusebio Suero with 18.
