AUGUSTA, U.S.A. – The Augusta Masters is heading for an electrifying finish, with Rory McIlroy and Cameron Young tied at the top after an exciting third round.
McIlroy and Young: A Duel at the Top
Rory McIlroy, who arrived at Saturday’s round with an impressive lead, saw it vanish. After 36 holes, his lead was six strokes, the largest recorded in the history of the tournament. However, Saturday was a day of challenges. McIlroy signed a card of 73 strokes (+1), including a double bogey on the 11th hole and another on the 12th. Despite these setbacks, he managed to tie for the lead with Young, who had an outstanding round of 65 strokes (-7), with eight birdies.I knew it wasn’t going to be an easy day. The level of the rivals is very high. I wasn’t sharp from the start, but I still have a great opportunity.
