Aaron Judge continues his dominance with another home run
New York – Aaron Judge continues to demonstrate his power at the plate. This Tuesday, the player hit his twelfth home run of the season, tying for the lead in home runs in Major League Baseball. His hit contributed to the victory of the New York Yankees over the San Diego Padres with a score of 12-3 at Yankee Stadium.
Judge’s home run was a solo shot in the fourth inning against Michael King, his former teammate. The ball, according to Statcast, traveled 341 feet to right field, with an exit velocity of 102.0 mph.
With this home run, the Yankees captain tied with Cal Raleigh (Mariners) and Kyle Schwarber (Phillies) at the top of the home run leaderboard. It is important to note that Judge would have added another home run this season if one had not been overturned on review last April 20 against the Rays.
The Man. The Myth. The Judge.

In addition to his home runs, Judge is having an exceptional start to the season offensively. At the start of the day, he led the Majors with a batting average of .412 and also topped the American League in RBIs, with 34, after Tuesday’s home run.
Although his 14-game hitting streak came to an end on Monday, Judge extended his on-base streak to 32, tying for the third-longest of his career.
With his hot bat and leadership, Judge seems headed for an MVP-worthy season, with the real possibility of competing for the Triple Crown.
