Panama City, Panama –The 13th FIA Americas Awards Gala, held in a central city hotel last Saturday, January 31st, was the setting where drivers Luis Cifre Pellerano and Alfredo Najri were recognized for their achievements in the world of motorsports.The event, which was attended by more than 30 pilots and presidents of federations from countries across the American continent, highlighted the excellence of the athletes.
Awarding of Dominican Pilots
Luis Cifre, in the Karting discipline, and Alfredo Najri, in motorsports, received the award for the most outstanding drivers of 2025. The recognition was presented by the president of the Dominican Federation of Automobilism (FDA), Mr. Adriano Abreu Sued, who highlighted the outstanding performance of the Dominican drivers during the season.The presentation of the Dominican pilots included an audiovisual that exhibited the beauty of the Dominican Republic, showing landscapes of the island and highlights of the pilots in competition, all accompanied by the music of Juan Luis Guerra.“Undoubtedly, the work done by Luis Cifre winning the Jr. karting category and participating in the FIA Trophy Academy in Europe makes him deserving of such distinction, as well as Alfredito Najri who was crowned champion of the international V8 category in the GT Challenge championship, raised our flag high and it is a pride for us today to see him shine on this stage that honors the best drivers on the American continent during a complete season”,
