The operation was led by the sports director, Anderson de Souza “Deco”, who intensified negotiations this week during a meeting in London with the footballer’s agents.
Gordon, 25 years old, joins the team led by Hansi Flick after a distinguished career in the Premier League with Newcastle. During his time at the club, the player scored 39 goals in 152 official matches.
The English forward possesses the versatility to play both as a left winger, his main position, and as a center forward, which adds flexibility to Barcelona’s attack.
