Banreservas joins the Santo Domingo 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games
The Banco de Reservas de la República Dominicana has formalized its support for the Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026, establishing a strategic alliance with the Organizing Committee of the sporting event. This competition, which will bring together athletes from across the region, will be held from July 24 to August 8, 2026. During the presentation, Banreservas also launched its new institutional campaign, inspired by the values of effort, courage and overcoming that characterize the Dominican people and their athletes.Leonardo Aguilera, executive president of Banreservas, highlighted that this initiative goes beyond an institutional positioning strategy, reflecting the bank’s commitment to sports, tourism, and the international projection of the Dominican Republic. Banreservas plans to develop various activities and activations in different provinces of the country before and during the Games, with the aim of bringing the Olympic spirit closer to the entire population and fostering support for national delegations. The Games’ assembly has been possible thanks to the support of President Luis Abinader, who has promoted the realization of this important multidisciplinary event. The Minister of Sports, Kelvin Cruz, positively valued the alliance between the financial sector and the national sports movement, highlighting that this type of support strengthens the development of Dominican sports. José Monegro also highlighted the importance of having the support of an institution that has historically contributed to the growth of sport in the country. Banreservas’ new advertising campaign emphasizes the sacrifice and perseverance of Dominican athletes, using messages that exalt national pride and the ability to overcome, under slogans such as “We are invincible for getting here” and “This is how invincible we are at Banreservas.” Executives from the banking institution, sports leaders, athletes, media representatives, and special guests attended the launch, in an event filled with elements representative of Dominican culture and identity.This campaign reaffirms the patriotism and fighting spirit of all Dominicans. Our support for the Games is also a bet on the country’s image and the historical legacy that our athletes represent.
