San Cristóbal, R.D. – The Chamber of Commerce and Production of San Cristóbal, in collaboration with the San Cristóbal Diagnostic Center (CEDISANC), successfully organized the 5K Foot Rally, an event that brought together numerous merchants and citizens this Sunday.
The activity, which primarily aimed to promote well-being and community integration, served as the closing of Health Week. For the second consecutive year, the goal was to highlight the importance of physical and mental health care for productivity and overall balance, both in the business community and in the general population.
The 5K route, designed to combine sport and culture, passed through various historical monuments of the city, offering participants an enriching experience.
At the end of the competition, the president of the Chamber of Commerce, Víctor Ramón Montás, led the awards ceremony. Economic incentives of RD$30,000, RD$20,000 and RD$10,000 were awarded to the three couples who crossed the finish line first.
The winners also received gifts from sponsoring companies, including Equipo Creativo, Quality Seguro, Restaurante La Chivería, Suerox and CPS.
With this initiative, both institutions reaffirm their commitment to the promotion of healthy lifestyles, the appreciation of historical heritage, and the strengthening of the business and social fabric of the province.
