Tension in Moca: Armed confrontation mobilizes authorities in Espaillat

Residents of José María Rodríguez Street, in the municipality of Moca, Espaillat province, experienced a night of panic after an intense exchange of gunfire between alleged members of rival gangs was reported. The incident, which occurred this Monday, disrupted the community’s tranquility and immediately mobilized security agencies.

According to preliminary data collected by Alofoke Deportes, the confrontation involved four individuals who allegedly exchanged gunfire in the middle of a public street. The rapid intervention of National Police agents allowed for the deployment of an operation at the scene of the incident.
