TDC celebrates 28 years in the Dominican energy sector with an institutional renewal

The TDC business group has reached a significant milestone by completing 28 years of history in the Dominican Republic. As part of this celebration, the company has unveiled a new institutional identity, which reflects its evolution and the growth achieved since its inception in 1998, now consolidating itself with a staff of 300 direct employees.

Under the motto “To advance is to care,” the organization seeks to reaffirm its unwavering commitment to operational safety, environmental preservation, and the strengthening of its ties with the communities where it maintains an active presence.

With a forward-looking vision, the decision to renew our image is born, not to change our trajectory and essence, but to honor it. Because moving forward also means caring: caring for who we are, what we do, and the impact we generate.

Evolution and specialized services

What began nearly three decades ago as a small fleet of trucks dedicated to fuel transport has evolved into a pillar of the national energy sector. Currently, TDC’s portfolio is diverse and covers key areas for the industry:

  • Commercialization and transport of diesel, regular and premium gasoline.
  • Advanced sanitation solutions.
  • Comprehensive environmental management.
  • Specialized unit for hydrocarbon spill emergency response.

This last response unit is fundamental to the company’s strategy, as it allows for mitigating the environmental impact in the event of fuel-related incidents, always prioritizing the recovery of the affected areas.

Commitment to sustainable development

Juana González, founder and vice president of TDC, emphasized that the company’s success is not only quantified through its commercial results, but through the value they bring to society and the natural environment.

At TDC, we understand that development is not measured solely by results, but also by the positive impact we leave on people, communities, and the environment. This renewal reflects that vision: to continue growing, innovating, and building a company that generates value and can transcend over time.

Looking to the future, the company maintains its focus on innovation, responsible management of energy resources, and the continuous improvement of its safety standards, ensuring that its growth continues to be an engine of progress for the Dominican Republic.
