With a solemn ceremony held at the Andrés Medrano high school facilities, Educational District 15-05 formally marked the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year in Santo Domingo Oeste. The ceremony brought together key figures from the educational, municipal, and legislative spheres, reaffirming the commitment to academic training in this district.

The event was led by Professor Servio Sena, with the distinguished presence of Eddy Chávez, director of Regional 15; Alfredo Pacheco, president of the Chamber of Deputies; and the mayor of Santo Domingo Oeste, Francisco Peña.
