Pablo Antonio Paulino Hospital works to restore air conditioning and improve user care
The Pablo Antonio Paulino Municipal Hospital, located in Las Terrenas, Samaná, has announced that it is currently carrying out maintenance work on its central air conditioning system. This technical intervention has caused an increase in temperature within various areas of the healthcare facility.
The hospital administration, under the management of Dr. Santiago Hidalgo, continues to closely supervise the progress of the work. The main objective is to expedite the necessary procedures so that the air conditioning system returns to optimal operation as soon as possible, thus ensuring a more comfortable environment for patients, family members, and health personnel.
Provisional measures during maintenance
As a mitigation measure while technical work concludes, the center’s administration has installed fans in the most affected areas. This arrangement seeks to promote air circulation and provide immediate relief to those using the hospital facilities.
Patient well-being remains our absolute priority. We appreciate the public’s understanding regarding these necessary works to optimize our facilities.
Dr. Santiago Hidalgo, Director of the Pablo Antonio Paulino Municipal Hospital.
Respect for dignity and privacy
Faced with this situation, hospital authorities have issued a call for civic responsibility. The importance of preserving the privacy, image, and dignity of both patients and their families has been emphasized.
In that sense, the management requested that users and visitors take special care when taking photographs or videos within the premises, reminding them that it is essential to maintain respect and discretion towards those receiving medical care at the center.
Finally, the Pablo Antonio Paulino Municipal Hospital reiterated its institutional commitment to continue strengthening its services and improving its infrastructure, with the firm purpose of offering the entire Samaná community dignified, humane, and high-quality healthcare.
