Strengthening early education in the Valdesia region with the delivery of 23 new classrooms
With the goal of expanding school coverage and optimizing teaching environments, Regional Education Directorate 03 formally delivered 23 new specialized classrooms for the Initial Level. This project, promoted by the Ministry of Education, seeks to positively impact the pedagogical development of students in the provinces of Azua, Peravia, and San José de Ocoa.
The main event was led by the Regional Director of Education 03, teacher Jorge Antonio De los Santos, who emphasized that the enablement of these spaces is fundamental to guarantee a solid foundation in the academic training of children from their early years.
Strategic distribution of educational spaces
The expansion of school infrastructure has been strategically distributed to meet the needs of the area, organized as follows:
- Azua Province: 12 new classrooms.
- Peravia Province: 8 new classrooms.
- San José de Ocoa Province: 3 new classrooms.
The creation of these spaces constitutes an important step to continue strengthening early childhood education and offering suitable environments for the integral development of students.

During the ceremony, key figures were present, such as the director of the 03-01 Educational District of Azua, Marino Lebrón, and the provincial governor, María Minerva Navarro. Likewise, the School Infrastructure team of the Valdesia region, led by engineer Hipólito Capano, supervised the delivery, reaffirming the state’s commitment to creating safe and dignified environments for Dominican children.
This initiative responds to a public policy aimed at improving educational quality through the modernization of school facilities, allowing children from the age of 3 to have appropriate facilities for their learning and socialization process.
