The incident occurred in the emergency area of the Doctor Arístides Fiallo Cabral Provincial Hospital. According to reports gathered by Alofoke Deportes, the altercation took place in the triage zone, where Montás allegedly pushed a glass door with force. The impact caused the structure to shatter, with the fragments striking Dr. Guerrero, causing her various injuries and significant fractures.

Defense position and medical sector
During the hearing, the defense for the healthcare professional requested that the accused be kept in custody, arguing that his release would represent an imminent danger to both the victim and the social environment.
