Inclusion and competition calendar
One of the most important new features of this edition is the integration of a youth female component. During the second weekend, two women’s teams will play a series of matches, reaffirming the foundation’s commitment to sports inclusion. The structure of the tournament has been defined as follows:
- Regular season: From September 4 to 6.
- Super round and women’s tournament: From September 11 to 13.
- Final phase and awards ceremony: From September 18 to 20.
The Macarrulla Foundation has guaranteed that participation in this competition is completely free for all teams. At the end of the tournament, medals and trophies will be awarded to the top finishers, along with recognition for the Most Valuable Player (MVP) and the championship coach, and an “All-Star Team” will be formed based on the statistical performance of the participants.
With this initiative, the non-profit organization reaffirms its constant work in the areas of education, culture, and sports, using baseball as a driver of positive change for Dominican youth.
