Juma Bejucal launches infrastructure projects under the Participatory Budget
The Municipal District of Juma Bejucal, in the Monseñor Nouel province, formally began a series of infrastructure works that seek to transform the urban environment of its communities. The event, characterized by transparency and social commitment, was led by the district director, Teodoro Santos Paulino, who reaffirmed the importance of meeting citizens’ demands through the Participatory Budget and the support of the Dominican Municipal League.
During the event, both the members of the Juma Bejucal City Council administrative team and the engineering professionals who will be in charge of the projects gathered. This coordination between municipal management and the contractors is key to ensuring that the work is executed with the required quality standards.
Commitment to transparency and local development
To ensure that work begins immediately, the district director delivered 30% of the assigned budget to each of the four engineers responsible for the construction lots. This initial disbursement is a sign of the institutional commitment to boost public works in the area.
The correct investment of public resources is our guiding principle. We are committed to constant supervision and active community participation to ensure that every cent translates into real progress for our people.
Teodoro Santos Paulino, District Director of Juma Bejucal
