The natural phenomenon has left, according to preliminary reports from authorities, a regrettable toll of 234 dead and multiple structural damages in various regions, with the epicenter in the department of Chocó.
Infantino, who recently visited the city of Cali, expressed his deep sorrow for the tragedy that the South American nation is going through. In a message filled with sensitivity, the head of world football extended his condolences to the families of the victims and sent wishes for recovery to all those affected by this catastrophe.
