Dominicans of Excellence: The diaspora shines in Connecticut
The city of Hartford, in Connecticut, was the setting for the first edition of “Dominicans of Excellence 2026,” an initiative promoted by Proyectos Henry that seeks to make visible and honor the positive impact of the Dominican community in the United States. The event, held at the historic Hartford City Hall, brought together local leaders and prominent figures who represent the effort and success of a new generation of Dominicans abroad.

Likewise, the backing of the City of Hartford and the key support of Councilwoman Maly D. Rosado were highlighted, whose collaboration was fundamental in opening the doors of City Hall and celebrating the contributions of Dominicans in a space of such historical relevance.
