Dionis K Da Uno conquers the top of Dominican radio with his bachata “Pages of the soul”
The Dominican singer based in New York, Dionis K Da Uno, celebrates a transcendental milestone in his artistic career by positioning his song “Páginas del alma” at the number one spot of the most played songs in the Dominican Republic. This achievement, certified by the Powerell Music Monitor monitoring system, sets an important precedent as it is his first formal foray into the bachata genre.
With this release, the artist managed to displace salsa singer Yiyo Sarante from the top spot, who had been leading the hit charts for approximately seven months. For Dionis, this success has added emotional value, as “Páginas del alma” is a composition he used to perform with his family since he was a child.
Dionis K Da Uno remained firm in his purpose, working with faith and perseverance, convinced that for God there are no impossibilities, even when he was warned that climbing to the top 20 spots would be an extremely difficult task against artists with great track records.
