Alert in Monte Plata: Deputy Óscar Morel demands greater security in the face of a wave of robberies
Deputy Óscar Morel has expressed his deep concern regarding the significant increase in criminal acts in the province of Monte Plata. The legislator made an urgent call to the National Police to implement decisive measures to curb the wave of insecurity affecting various municipalities in the area.
According to what was stated by the congressman, the problem is not limited solely to Bayaguana, but extends to Yamasá, Monte Plata, and other neighboring communities. Morel emphasized that the situation has generated a state of constant unrest among citizens, who are demanding immediate responses from the competent authorities.
Criminal incidence and citizen concerns
Among the most recent events that have raised alarms, the deputy highlighted the theft of 35 televisions that were intended for athletes and coaches in Bayaguana. For Morel, these types of actions, added to other frequent complaints, reflect a reality that must be addressed with urgency.
