David Collado intensifies his national political structure heading into 2028
The political platform driving David Collado’s presidential aspirations for 2028 has taken a decisive step in its expansion strategy. Over the past weekend, the project held a series of simultaneous meetings at strategic points across the country, consolidating its presence in the Cibao, Northwest, East, and South regions.
The main objective of these working sessions was territorial organization and the integration of new leadership at the provincial and municipal levels, preparing the ground for upcoming electoral challenges.
Strategic regional deployment
In Santiago, the epicenter of the Cibao, key figures from the political spectrum gathered, including Mayor Ulises Rodríguez, Senator Franklin Romero, the mayor of San Francisco de Macorís, Alex Díaz, as well as deputies Dilenia Santos and Stamy Colón. In parallel, in Mao, Valverde province, representatives from the Northwest met, with the presence of deputies Ángela Rodríguez, Rubén Peñaló, Tony Bengoa, and Johanny Martínez.
On the other hand, the Eastern region concentrated its efforts in Higüey, La Altagracia province, where Senator Rafael Barón Duluc (Cholitín) and the mayor of El Seibo, Leo Francis Zorrilla, led the coordination of local structures. Finally, in the Enriquillo region, the meeting in Bahoruco had the support of senators Guillermo Lama and Augusto Velásquez, deputy Hermes José, and provincial leader Menín Cuevas.
The fundamental purpose of these meetings has been to strengthen the project’s organic structure, incorporating various social and political actors who see in David Collado a vision for the future of the Dominican Republic heading into 2028.

The magnitude of these sessions was evidenced by the large participation of prominent leaders and officials from various districts. Among the figures present at the different activities, names such as the following stood out:
