Animal abuse against puppies reported in a Santo Domingo residential area
Residents of the Brisas del Río sector, in Cancino Adentro, have raised their voices regarding a worrying case of animal cruelty affecting several puppies that live in the parking lot of said residential complex. The animals, which do not have a defined owner, are cared for and fed by the neighbors of the community.
According to the complaint filed with Alofoke Deportes, a local resident allegedly attacked the dogs violently. The account indicates that, in the early hours of the morning, the animals were targeted with hot water, which has caused them severe burns and skin detachment in various areas of their bodies.
The puppies are completely burned, they have parts of their body where the skin has come off.

The neighbors have expressed their total rejection of these acts of cruelty, ensuring that there is a consensus in the community to allow the puppies to remain in the area safely. The complainant expressed her deep concern, noting that this is not an isolated event, but that previous aggressions against the dogs have been recorded.
