Methodology and institutional coordination
The Comptroller’s Office highlighted that its oversight duties are governed by Law 10-07, which empowers the institution to conduct internal audits with a comprehensive approach, as well as focused and follow-up audits. The choice of each modality depends strictly on the objectives, scope, and risks detected in each public entity examined.
Likewise, to optimize resources and avoid duplication of efforts, the entity maintains close coordination with the Chamber of Accounts. Thanks to this joint work, audit programs are organized to ensure that periods already analyzed by said body are not intervened, thus guaranteeing an efficient and organized process.
Citizens interested in knowing the details of these audits can access the complete documents through the official portal of the Office of the Comptroller General of the Republic, reaffirming the commitment to transparency in the management of State resources.
