Strategic moves: Tigres del Licey release five players
The Tigres del Licey organization has begun its restructuring process ahead of the upcoming commitments of the Dominican winter baseball season. This Thursday, the blue team officially announced the release of five of its players, who from this moment on have the authority to negotiate with any other franchise, whether in the local circuit or in international leagues.
The announcement was made by Audo Vicente, vice president of operations and general manager of the Tigres, who detailed the moves through a press release issued by the institution’s baseball operations department.
The players who leave the team
The list of players who have received their release includes four pitchers and one position player:
- Deivi García (Pitcher)
- Dany Jiménez (Pitcher)
- Bryan Pérez (Pitcher)
- Gabriel Sosa (Pitcher)
- Manolfi Jiménez (Outfielder)

Licey management explained that these decisions are in line with the standard planning carried out by professional teams.
