Banreservas promotes Dominican tourism diversification from the IFTM Top Resa 2026 fair
The Banco de Reservas (Banreservas) has reaffirmed its leadership in financing the national tourism sector during its participation in the IFTM Top Resa 2026 fair, held in Paris, France. With a loan portfolio exceeding RD$60 billion, the financial institution seeks to attract new investments that strengthen the country’s offerings.
Deyanira Pappaterra, Vice President of Tourism Business at the entity, highlighted that the bank’s current strategy has transcended the traditional hotel financing model, betting on larger-scale and more varied projects. Among the supported sectors are cruise ports, theme parks, and the growing health tourism segment, areas that have yielded positive results for the institution.
